In perfect conditions on Sunday, it was Chez Reavie who shot a 1-under par to win the Canadian Open by 3 strokes over Billy Mayfair. It was nice to see some good golf conditions after 3 days of disruptions and stop start golf.
Reavie has had a steady Rookie 2008 season, playing in 22 events and making 15 cuts, 1 win and 1 top 10. We will wait and see if Reavie can learn from this experience and continue to play some good golf.
There was a big field of lefties out there too, including Canadian Mike Weir, with a decent T5 position. Weir has chosen to skip the World Golf Championships after playing in the British Open and this week, and deserves a well earned rest.

- T20 Eric Axley -8
- T30 Steve Flesch -5

- Cut Tim Wilkinson
